FOOD FOR THE BODY

Strawberry Compote (from http://www.recipezaar.com/)

Points value: 0-1

4 cups strawberries, diced
4 tsp. cinnamon
8 T. water
Splenda or sugar, to taste

In a pot, mash strawberries. Pour in water. Turn on medium heat. Mix in Splenda or sugar and cinnamon. Keep heated for 3-5 minutes. Serve over whole grain pancakes, waffles, or light or sugar-free ice cream. Points value depends on whether using Splenda or sugar. Serves 4.
